This challenge aims to detect dolphin clicks from the caribean reefs (based on CARI’MAM project data). It helps to protect big marine mammals that are threatened by both anthropic pressure and climate change. It will be follow in december 2024 by a challenge on the complex cocktail party effect unveiled by our arctic mission MITI CNRS / ADSIL (Pi H.G.) that registered four cetacean species (orcas, spermwhales, humpback whales and rorquals). All these species were registered while hunting and vocalizing at the same time in a Fjord where herrings are concentrated by climate change. For what we now it seems to be a unique scene in the world.
